A Small Glimpse into What I Experience 

When people think of Costa Rica, the country is often reduced to dream beaches and stunning nature. For me, Costa Rica is a fascinating country with many facets, a vibrant culture, warm-hearted people, and nature from which we can constantly learn. 
What you don’t see in the photos is the other reality and the major challenges people face in their everyday lives. Rising living costs, growing social inequality, and increasing corruption and crime, such as drug trafficking, are becoming more present. The impressive natural environment, with all its beautiful wildlife, is threatened by human interference in the ecosystem. 
Through my work, I want to help protect and preserve this unique habitat.
